November & December...

In November we visited the UK for a week although both Julian and Yasmin had flu the whole visit, which made the week somewhat subdued.  We managed to visit family and friends, do some Christmas shopping, deliver presents...and see West Ham come back from 2-0 down to beat Watford!

Yasmin did not really appreciate Christmas was coming and left the Christmas tree and presents alone.  Stories of Father Christmas, reindeer and hanging up stockings passed her by - bet that will be different next year...  She did quickly understand the concept of opening presents though, although quite why Father Christmas used so much sellotape for a 2 year old’s presents is beyond her husband.

In Spain the holidays are spread between Christmas Eve when people gather for family dinners, New Year’s Eve with friends, and Reyes Magos - the 3 Kings - on January 6 when traditionally the presents are given.  So more to come...
