June...
We took a ten day home leave at the beginning of June to visit friends and family in the south of England. We also went to Phil’s 50th birthday bash in Devon, and Chris and Sarah’s wedding in Cornwall. The weather for the most part was almost Spanish with temperatures in the high 20 degrees. Of course, back in Spain it is now hitting between 32 and 39 degrees with the hottest months yet to come!
The events in Devon and Cornwall meant an opportunity to meet up with quite a few friends from around the world with people flying in to the wedding from 15 different countries, including John & Liz from Jakarta, Tom & Bev from Singapore, Phil & Helena from Dubai and Claude & Nga from Viet Nam.
Yasmin took all the travelling and being handed round all sorts of strange people in her stride! Having said that she had a dummy spitting few moments on the morning of the wedding but recovered her sense of decorum in time for the kick-off and managed to avoid being ejected by the ushers. She continues to grow, make strange noises, sings along to ‘Edelweis’ - in Korean - and is onto some solids now at both ends (that’s for all those who complained there wasn’t enough about her on these pages).
